When the blog calls, I must answer.

Monday. Surprisingly, it’s been a lovely day. The weather is utterly beautiful for this time of year, +10 or so, sunny, no wind, no clouds. LOOOOVE. It’s weird how much it feels like summer is coming…

And what you’ve all been waiting for! (haha ya right..) DATE NIGHT RECAP.

Oh, whoops…it didn’t happen cuz I totally got blown off! BOO. Haha, alright so this is how it goes: Thursday night I got a text from Josh saying he was getting in really late Friday night and that Sat we should go play pool and then go swimming at the hotel. Well, I don’t go swimming, in a bathing suit, on a date. Not unless I feel perfectly comfortable with the person. So I ignored that little gem, and sent him a msg Friday night instead telling him to let me know when he got in. Saturday night rolls around, still no word. So it’s around 6 and I’m slumming it in my pajamas watching Charmed on DVD (yes, Charmed). I text him asking if he made it in. 30 min later he replies saying yes, alive but tired. I say, sooo what are you doing tonight? An HOUR later I get, Predrinking and then zees, you? I was like, scumbag! Pfft. So I replied with “Oh, I guess I thought we were doing something. Guess not then but have fun!” Then he proceeded to be like you can come too, and I was like, NAH NAH ya done. 9:30pm and I’ve pretty much accepted that it’s just me, my pajamas, charmed and jewelry making. UNTIL, I get a phone call. FROM NONE OTHER THAN EMILY BELL. Basically she demands I come party in a hotel room her bf’s friends have got for one of their birthdays. Takes me about 30 seconds of contemplation before I’m hoping off my bed, turning on the hair straightener and throwing clothes around in the air. I manage to scrounge some booze out of my liquor fridge..pretty much scrapping the bottom of the barrel: a pint of Sailor Jerrys and 3 Mike’s hard coolers = jackpot! She picks me up 20 minutes later, and we’re off to the races.

So we get there and there’s 6 guys and us. The room they’ve been put in, I swear, was decorated for a Disney princess. Pink satin covered chairs, and purple bed spreads with flowers on them?? They were the coolest bunch of guys! So friendly, they all introduced themselves and right away were including us in their conversations and such. Oh, and did I mention they were EXTREMEMLY CUTE?! Yaaaaaaaay! Haha nothing wrong with a room full of good looking really nice men. Thank you Emily! By the end of the night I was being followed into the bathroom by the birthday boy (who I literally had to push out and slam the door shut on) and me and Joel aka the hotest toddie of them all were taking turns literally pouring Sailor Jerry’s straight from the bottle into each others mouths. BAAAAHAHAHAHAA. Shit show and a half. But good times were had by all. When the birthday boy took his clothes off and started walking around in his turquoise briefs we left. I got home probably around 5am.

Oh did I mention I went to work the next day? Yeah, Sunday. I left the house at 9am. How did I manage that? I honestly don’t know.

Oh and guess who was the only other person at work Sunday? Yeah, that’s right, I don’t even have to say it. Enter extreme eye roll here.

This week seems like it’s shaping up to be sick busy here at work, so probably should get back to the grind.

Love to all, and I hope you all get to have amazingly fun random hotel parties with hot guys real soon!

Craft night update, O, aaand it's Friday. YAY!

It turns out it takes more time to do all those things I had planned then one would think.

I skipped the ski pant search, will be doing that tonight after work. Did get to Eves Rocher because I needed more shamp/cond. Check out the free mug and spoon!! I got two of each. Love.

As predicted me and M. went out and had a lovely dinner at Dimitres, where we ate yummy food, discussed our holiday adventures and dished some girly gossip. <3

We made it to Michaels and got completely swept up by the place. There were so many goodies! I almost forgot what I was originally going for. Also everything was on clearance, so I couldn’t say no to anything…

blank barrettes was one of the things i meant to pick up

Couldn't resist the cheap cute ribbon

Then silly me, I accidentally went into the jewelry making section and found these little jems on clearance. I'm actually surprised I didn't get more...I was picking them up left and right.

Weird bird thing but I love it.

Lovely fox.

Antique scissors.

Golden owl.

Sewing machine.

The white rabbit.

Some biiiirds.

And some relaxing yoga-esk pieces <3.

Can't wait to make some new necklaces (i have really wide excited eyes right now!)

After our lengthy visit to Michaels, we went to Walmart to get some fabric. Next time we will hit up Fabricville. The Walmart selection was a little lacking...but we managed to find some cute 1.97/m prints, so all turned out well.

I also got these and have been chowing down on them all day. NOM NOM.

By the time we left it was already past 9pm, so I decided to call it a night and reschedule our actual crafting for another time.

Lovely lovely evening all around :)

Tonight, I must venture off to find ski pants. Later on I plan on getting together with some good people at the James Joyce pub. Not too much drinking though tonight, as nobody wants to puke off the chairlift. Right, Whitney? Tomorrow I probably won't have time to blog because we are leaving early for crabbe, then I am heading to a friends to celebrate his birthday and to an engagement party of one of my favorite sorority sisters <3.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

ps i love saying lovely right now. did you notice?

Drinking seems to make me get up earlier in the morning then I normally would...I get like A.D.D. hangovers where I'm compulsed to clean, or read, or TYPE!

Hot chocolate goodness.

I just made hot chocolate at work!

While grocery shopping last week I specifically bought two cans, one for home and one for work. I get my hot water from one of the trailers water coolers, but it always spits out more then one cups worth, so today I made two, one for me and one for Colin as well. He has a cough and was very appreciative. But enough about him!

CHRISTMAS TREE!!!!

No lights (note Liam, fascinated by the tree)

With lights (Liam is in the tree box at this point I believe)

Can't wait til my sisters arrive and we can decorate it properly.

So, these are some of the creations I made at my wire basics class (blurry pictures again :/)

I keep repeating with the same beads, I know. I had picked out all these wicked cool green and blue beads with brown specs on them, but once I got started I realized they wouldn't fit on the 18 gauge wire we were using...so I had to pick out new stuff really quick!

I am dreading tonight, it is supposed to go down to -30 degrees. I didn't get to go to my body flow class last night because it was snowing and storming out, and it was too far away to drive, but I hope tonight, even though I will likely freeze my face off walking through the parking lot, I will get to my Zumba class at 7pm, Smythe St Goodlife. Instead, I had a lazy lazy night, in which i ate supper, watched the peak season finale while making one earring (which took me forever), talked to my momma, took a shower and made my lunch for today.
