My 21st Birthday day

BIRTHDAY madness! Or, less madness actually, saving all madness for this Friday...I do feel older, 21 is kind of a milestone - allowed to drink in the USA anyways. Age is a strange thing.

I got 3 lovely cards today from some of the gang and fam, a jumble of txt msgs, a few calls, numerous facebook wallposts and a happy happy birthday email from my dad hidden inside a forward about sand castles :) He's often cute like that. Thanks all!

Canada's Next Top Model thoughts:

I like Meagan even though she's kind of a bitch, I think it's funny. I would be happy if she won, but Nikita probably will because she looks weird. Feel free to post your opinions --

William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet
starring Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio
The script is actually Shakespeares' original work and it makes the story so great. It also doesn't hurt that Leo is EFFING gorgeous. It feels almost like he is in love with you...or that just might be me really hoping....

Love is in the air...unfortunately so is humidity

Today was a great day! AshC. came to visit Yeeeeah! And we went to our Sorority Sister's wedding, J. Weeks. It was beautiful....makes me feel all lovey dovey. Another topsy-weather day. Really hope this rain clears up before Wednesday, CANADA DAY. Coincidently the day B.Fraser arrives for her visit :D:D:D. We have a full day planned of walking around downtown with innocent looking waterbottles, getting tattoos and eating junkie junk food from various vendors. I'm looking forward to a snowcone myself. I would really prefer not to wear a rain poncho. Not to mention the magnificent Fredericton fireworks that shoot off at night would be cancelled! Everybody cross you fingers for sunshine. Hope everybody can make it to our co-birthday party Friday, July 3rd at our house. It's a GLOWSTICK party....no lights, only glowing goodness. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MY SISTER!!!!!!!! (boo to you Er for not coming up)

Quality thoughts: The only thing I can think to wear to tomorrow's 'White Trash BBQ' are a tshirt and hat that are from a case of beer. I'm going to be one classy broad.

Feel good movie quote...
The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds, and that’s what you’ve given me. That’s what I hope to give to you forever. I love you. I’ll be seeing you. Noah.

Finally some SUN!

It's been two days since I started this blog and I'm already getting harassed for not writing enough! Sheesh. So this is now another new adventure, and am going to try and write everyday. ("oo big adventure, writing..." you might be thinking. Well, yeah. It is for me, because I never write!) Today I had training at NB Power head office, which was great cuz I got to stay home in Fredericton! I slept in until 8 and was off work by 230pm. FYI we went to snooty for lunch (who's idea that was I dont know) and it was SHIT. The service, the food. Not recommended. Now, this past week the weather here has been absolutely sickening: 25'C days with no sun, and rain, really gross muggy days when you feel sweaty even if you are just sitting around. Like I said, sickening. Today, however, the sunshine managed to break through the clouds and finally - a beautiful day! So as soon as I was off work, I could think of nothing better than to go for my first swim of the summer at kilarny lake. Deja jealous? It was just what I hoped..fantastically refreshing. Another highlight of my day, an ebay item arrived in the mail. A sand dollar ae necklace, one which I used to own and adoringly wear daily until I foolishly lost it. Been looking for it for awhile now and just happened across it one day. YAY!

Hulloooooo

So I am almost 2 months into my 16 month employ at PLGS (Point Lepreau Generating Station) and the deal with it is that I am forced to spend 3 hours a day in a car commuting to and from. This severly cuts into any free time before or after work, so I have challenged myself into trying a different activity every weekend! So far it has worked really well, keeping me motivated and not crazy; I have acquired a $2 library card (go every wed), participated in my company golf tournament, played tennis, painted, played softball, created new clothing and accessories, and just picked up a jewellry making kit and glue gun this week. Who knows what adventures this weekend will unfold...except for the wedding I'm already attending Saturday and my 21st BIRTHDAY being Sunday! (It's also my friend's bday and she is throwing a 'White Trash' BBQ which I'm attending). Here's Johnny....
